And it all started here …
Ok, I will admit I’m old enough to remember all of this. In fact, everyone in my house (and all across the USA for that matter) were riveted to the one and only black and white TV we owned. The moon landing was just mesmerizing.
We could not get enough of this, and it was a time when Walter Cronkite was King of news – he could do no wrong and we all trusted about everything he said as gospel.
My how times have changed.
But take a look at the animation. This was not a time where Xbox, hand-held electronic games, ipods, smart-phones or even cordless phones existed. So what CBS broadcasted was simply amazing animation for the time.
“One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind” from Neil Armstrong. Yup … this is priceless. And it all happened on July 20, 1969.
